WKN Event 27-28 Jan 2024

Singapore Kendo Club will be hosting some members from World Kendo Network. Please find tentative schedule below for 2 days. Do note that there may be changes on the day of the event.

27 Jan 2024, Saturday

Venue: Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Sports Complex, Indoor Sports Hall 2, Level 1, 61 Changi South Ave 1 (view map)

Schedule:

There will be a friendly team shiai for all participants. Registration will start between 9.15am - 9.30am and the shiai will start from 10am.

  • 9am: Doors open

  • 9.15am - 9.30am: Registration for shiai

  • 10am - 12pm: Shiai

  • 12pm - 1pm: Lunch break (meals not provided; please prepare your own meal and eat outside the hall or you may consider to eat at a cafe in the school - d’Star Bistro)

  • 1pm - 2pm: Cultural exchange

  • 2pm - 2.30pm Godo Keiko

  • 2.30pm - 2.45pm: Pack up and leave the venue

Venue: Changi Japanese School, 11 Upper Changi Road North (view map)

[❗IMPORTANT] As the venue is a private property, only people who registered for the event via the link below will be allowed into the school. Please take note of the school’s rules & regulations here.

Schedule:

  • 10.45am - 11am: Opening ceremony

  • 11am - 11.30am: Kihon

  • 11.30am - 11.45am: Mawari Keiko

  • 11.45am - 12.45pm: Godo Keiko

  • 12.45pm - 1.30pm: Pack up and leave the venue
