December Grading 2022

Schedule

  • 8am: Registration open

  • 8.30am: Opening ceremony

  • 8.45am: Grading commences

  • 12:30pm Pack up and leave before 1pm

Yellow star: Indoor Sports Hall 2 (Grading Venue) | Pink star: Dance Studios 1-2 (Warm Up Venue)

Layout

Registration

  • Proceed to the respective courts for registration

    • Dan applicants: please proceed to court 1 (nearest to the entrance). You may submit your written exams during registration

    • Kyu applicants: please proceed to court 2

  • Registration starts at 8am and will close around 8.20am

  • For non-bogu grading applicants, please promptly change into gi and hakama/sports attire for registration.

  • For bogu grading applicants, please bring your tare without your zekken for registration

  • For overseas grading applicants, please make payment during the registration. Kindly prepare the exact amount if possible

Warm Up

  • You may warm up at Dance Studios 1-2 (refer to the image above)

Grading

  • Both Kyu and Dan grading will be held concurrently in different courts (refer to the image above)

Precautionary Measures

  • Applicants are highly recommended to take an ART test within 24 hours before the event

  • Do not attend if you are not feeling well

  • Applicants are recommended to wear mask and have men mask equipped

  • Masks are required to be worn during Kata

Results

  • You may leave once you have completed your grading. Godo keiko will only be decided if there is additional time after the event is over

  • Results will be posted on the following page


Registration for Singapore Kendo Club Grading is now open and we will be grading up to 4DAN.

Registration Deadline
29 October 2022, 12pm. Any application submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Bokuto Ni Yoru Kendo Kihon-waza Keiko Ho will not be part of the upcoming grading syllabus. Due to covid restrictions, applicants are recommended to wear mask/have men mask equipped. For 1DAN - 4DAN applicants, mask are required to be worn during kata.

Payment Method
An e-Invoice will be sent to your email address and payment has to be made via PayNow. Payment to be made by/before 12 November 2022, 12pm. For overseas applicants, payment is to be made by cash on the grading day itself.
