Changi Japanese School

Changi Japanese School is allowing us to train in their dojo as a gesture of goodwill. As guests, we must ensure that we respect and comply with the school rules which is also in line with our kendo discipline.

Rules & Regulations of Changi Japanese School

  • Only registered members are allowed in the school. Do not bring any guests. Contact us at singaporekendoclub@gmail.com at least 1 week prior if you like to bring any guests.

  • You may only enter the school at the following times stated below. Please wait outside at the bus stop if you are early. Do not approach the security guards to open the gates earlier for you. Kindly inform your family/friends if they are picking/dropping you off.

  • SKC Members: Please display the changi pass when entering the school.

  • Non-SKC Members: Please ensured that you have registered with us at least 1 week prior to visiting and sign in at the security counter when entering the school.

  • Please use the toilets next to the Sports hall on Level 1. Do not use other toilets around the school.

  • Throw all trash only in the dustbin in the dojo. Do not throw trash at any other dustbin in the school.

  • No loitering and wandering around the school.

  • Strictly no smoking within the school premises.

School gates opening times:

15 minutes before scheduled training / event (ie if training starts at 8.30am, the gates will open at 8.15am)

For members who drive:

  • Ensure that your vehicle license plate is registered with us

  • Show your changi pass to the security guards as you enter

  • Turn left after you enter the gate and park at the empty spots

For SKC members who take bus:

  • If the gate nearest to the bus stop is locked, please walk in via the gate where vehicles drive in

  • Show your changi pass to the security guards as you enter

Dropping off/picking up:

  • Please instruct the driver to drop off/pick up right at the main entrance

  • If your pick up is late, please wait either at the main entrance or at the bus stop outside the school

Enter the school via the main entrance

Upon walking pass the security guard office, turn left

Continue all the way straight and turn right at the end

Turn right followed by left

Continue straight

Turn right and left at the end of the walkway

Walk through the door

The toilets are at the end of this walkway. Take the stairs down to the dojo
